Who knew such a simple little act...
...could make his Mom so happy that he can do it?
He seems pleased with himself! He's been lifting his head all along, but his big sister is sitting just out of camera angle, coaching him on to hold it up a little longer and to find the toys she dangles in front of him. She pats him and speaks sweet to him when he starts going "Aaank! Aaank!" and she can usually get him to stay in tummy time for a few minutes longer than when he'd rather be done with the whole affair!

What a strong boy! Try anchoring his bum down with a sock filled with dried beans or rice. Use a big old sock and tie the top closed. Giving him a little more stability will help him keep that head steady!
What a great idea! We have a hot pack filled with rice already! That will work just fine...I'll try it with today's tummy time! Thank you Beth!
Sometimes I wish Peanut had a big brother or sister to encourage her along. But I cheer her along, so I guess that's good enough. :-)
The funny thing is, the Big Sis doesn't watch his therapy sessions...she just seems to know what to do, especially with helping him keep his head up while sitting. She rocks!
